When the law changes...

I just found out today, that the law in Utah recently changed (at least I think it did). Those with a Ph.D. in psychology can now count their predoctoral practicum/internship hours toward the 4,000 required for licensure. I had about 3500 during my first five years of graduate school, 2000 on internship, and 2000 that I just about finished up that are post-doctoral hours. It would have been nice to be able to skip the last year of residency and just take the test and become a psychologist....Oh well, it has been a good experience...

Now I need to apply for licensure, take the EPPP national licensing exam, and I am home free... :)

Anyone Studying for the EPPP?

Just curious if any of my blog readers are psychologists working toward licensure, and if they have started studying for the EPPP...What steps are you taking? Do you have to go before the board of psychology to get permission to take it...etc...
