Ward Basketball

Finally, I live in a ward that has organized a night for the Elder's Quorum to play basketball. I have lived in 4 wards since being married and this is the first ward that has done it. It took them two years to organize it, but it has been fun. I actually have learned the names of more than a handful of quorum members too. I wish we had started earlier. Then maybe I wouldn't be in such lousy shape. I can't believe how out-of-shape I have become...

My two favorite conference talks so far were the ones by Joseph B. Wirthlin and Henry B. Eyring...
I liked what Elder Wirthlin had to say about how the church needs people that are different....I think a lot of people fall away because they feel they don't fit in...I really like the stories that Elder Eyring tells and how he almost always becomes emotional as he is telling them...He strikes me as an extremely humble and "down-to-earth" person.
