My office in American Fork was broken into last night. They stole all of our neurofeedback equipment including an EEGInfo neuroamp, a playstation 2, a silver flat screen television, a stereo with IPod plugin, our Microsoft Word Office software, some petty cash, and a wicker basket to carry it in...

Hiked almost to red pine lake...

My girls are troopers...we made it to the summit, but didn't have the energy to go all the way to Red Pine Lake. I guess it is about another 30 minutes from where we got to...

Shopping takes forever...

My sister S is shopping for flowers with my sister MM. S said that she can't find the right flowers and is going from store to store. She said MM is probably annoyed with her for taking so long.

It reminded me of when we were kids and mom would run into Mike's Foodtown for groceries. She'd always say, "Wait right here, I'll just be a second." Those "seconds" would sometimes take forever. We started a saying whenever she'd leave the car:

"Mom's seconds are minutes and her minutes are hours." :)

I am taking the little girls on a hike to Red Pine Lake or Lake Blanche today...should be fun...

Drove to take some lightning shots tonight...I missed the biggest lightning strikes because I got there too late...However, this was the tail end of the storm. So it wasn't a total waste of time...

Melissa's Birthday

Waking up next to a 40-year-old woman wasn't as scary as I thought it would be... :)

We had fun on her birthday. We planted the garden, sprayed yard for weeds/wasps, then went to Gardner Village. I loved, loved, LOVED my prime rib sandwich at Archibald's restaurant. Took a few pictures. We had a bonfire and smores instead of cake...I thought it was nice. I wish we could have done something nicer for such a milestone, but as usual, we can't afford it... :(
