Henrie Family

So, I have decided that we only know pioneer stories about the Huntington family and info on the Ward family. I am going to start tracking down family history stories of other lines. Today, I was looking at the Henrie Family Line. We come from William and Myra Mayall Henrie who came across the plains with Brigham Young. He was a member of the scouting party that went ahead to scout out the Salt Lake Valley (I think I'm getting that right). I emailed some of the history to Mom.

Composite Lightning Shots

I learned how to cut the lightning out of one photo, and paste it into another with a "Lighter Color" blend mode to get them to merge together well...I like the effect....This is two shots combined...

Awakened by Thunder

I had just about fallen asleep last night when I was awakened by thunder....lightning right over the house. I jumped up, grabbed my camera, set it up in the laundry room with the door open and got some shots...I liked this one...
