Impaired Driving...
One of my clients came in for a neuropsychological evaluation the other day. She seemed impaired and had a very flat affect and watery eyes. We thought it was due to her dementia/depression/overmedication. Apparently she was quite impaired because she received a DUI on the way home. If I had realized she was too impaired to drive, I would have tried to get her to find another way home. :(

So they actually did a breathalizer, or did just the walk the line thing. Because if they only did the physical test, her impairment from neurological problems could have made her appear intoxicated. If they didn't do a breath or blood test, she should fight it.
They did a breathalyzer (passed) and a blood test (which I think she will fail because she uses Klonopin and took too many the night before...and possibly is abusing them)... :(
