My friend posted a picture on his blog that looks just like this picture. I gave him the link to your blog. He questioned that this is a yellow headed blackbird, and gave this link:

Yeah...I think it is a red-winged blackbird...I changed it...
I am going to guess that it is a Savannah Sparrow.
OK, the female red-winged blackbird looks very similar to the Savannah Sparrow, but the beak in your picture is more like the blackbird. The underbelly and feet would make it clearer.
