Those are great. Not to dimish your art with talk of my amateur wishes, but when I run I see loads of birds. I always wish I had a camera with me so I could take pictures of them. But I'm usually running, so...
Herons, cardinals, jays, bright yellow birds (between the size of a swallow and a robin), and blue birds (that are not jays, about the same size as the yellow bird). It's really cool.
What state are you from? I would love to take my DSLR running with me, but it weighs about 4 pounds and is too bulky. :) Maybe I need to buy a superzoom compact camera with image stabilization...
We're in Nashville. That's Tennessee for the uninformed. :)
We went down to Huntsville, Alabama for the fourth and saw these crazy ducks at a park called Muscovy ducks. They looked like a cross between a vulture and a duck, and some would say they were ugly. But I thought they were great. They had a lot of personality. We took some pictures that I'll be posting soon.
