Wow..I only missed 21 hours of work this pay period...
Wow...good thing Melissa is working so much overtime, because with President's Day and the kids and I being sick, I missed 21 hours of work over the past two weeks...Oh how I miss sick leave and vacation time...

Sorry you missed so much work - but I dig the look of the new blog.
I've been wanting to get the new Ryan Adams (29), or Brendan Benson (Alternative to Love). If you insist you could order either of those for me :-)

In January my sister-in-laws dad died (almost 2yrs to the day that her husband died). While we were at the funeral out 4 yr old was playing around on a head stone slipped and hit her head. We ended up at Primary's for stitches. The next day our 18 month old hit the back of her head on my sister-laws bed and she ended up with staples. The day after we were back at the ER because our 6 yr old had pneumonia and the day after that we saw our regular MD because my 9 yr old's ear drum ruptured. Luckily we and our 12 yr old escaped the bad luck for that week and didn't come down with the flu until the week after when everyone else got it. For Tad and I this is the 1st and hopefully the last time we have 4 kids to the MD in 4 days.
Next time we miss work for a week we hope it's not for a funeral and all the sick kids. Instead we want the kids to go on vacation, see all the sights and have fun while we stay home in our PJ's watch all the Harry Potters and Lord of the Rings (without distraction) and order in take out. I know, in our dreams.
I guess I should be happy I only had to go to the doctor once...
