They were just waiting for you to come along and take their picture! :0)
That's because all the houses in Alpine and Highland are where their kitchen used to be. There is no more winter range in Northern Utah. It is all housing projects.
gotta hate urban sprawl...at least if you are a deer or wildlife lover...Ryan
