Therapy

I had my first therapy client today in a while...I enjoyed the session, feel I can help the person decrease a lot of the anxiety he/she experiences. I will probably try to incorporate neurofeedback into the mix. Maybe do 20 minutes of eeg biofeedback treatment and 30 minutes of cognitive-behavioral therapy treatment. I am going to try and build up the number of people I see in therapy on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

I think those are great skills to have. I wish I knew how to help other people to overcome some of the anxieties in their life. In particular, I have a neighbor who has some serious issues and is always calling the police to complain about every little thing that is out of place in our neighborhood. I just received a notice that the leaves of my tree are hanging a few inches to low over the sidewalk. Another neighbor received a visit from the police when he was noisily putting a new roof on his house. Almost every dog owner has received complaints about their dog barking. Anyone who has a party in the neighborhood can be sure to get a visit from the police during the evening. I wish someone could help this man overcome his issues.
