I would love to be this home builder...


If I was the home builder that built this home, I would use this photo in an advertising campaign...

Yeah it would be a good one---you cannot phathom what that picture really looks like in real life. It makes my heart hurt to see the aftermath of Hurricane Ike---if you haven't been on site you cannot even imagine the loss that shows in this picture. The entire Parish of Cameron (Hurricane Rita) looked just like this with the courthouse being the building left standing---and only because it was completely constructed of concrete.

However, it would suck to be the homeowner in a way, because then you'd have all that mess around you and wouldn't be able to take the insurance money and run. (Pretty sure that property value severely dropped)

The wise man built his house upon the rock and the rains came tumbling down..I agree this homebuilder could get a lot of business if he advertised this picture, my heart goes out to all of those who have lost their homes and possessions though:(

Yeah me too...I actually bet the owners will also experience survivor's guilt if their home is okay. Actually, it probably has a lot of mold damage...PsychDoctor
