Massive Ear Ache...

A friend of ours spent all of last night 9-11 PM at the Emergency Room with his 15-year-old son who's earache had gotten so bad that he could no longer sleep. He said that he felt bad that he had waited 4-5 days to take his son in, but that his kids had a tendency to exaggerate physical ailments and that they usually went away in a day or two. He said the doctor came in, inserted the ear examiner doo-hickey, and started laughing. It wasn't an earache. It was a massive zit that was bigger than a pea. It had swollen up so much that it had sealed off his son's ear canal. Apparently it took some effort to pop the zit, but his son was very embarrassed. :)
